Berusynth EPXthe next generation of high-performance polyalkylene glycol gear oils

Efficient.
Future-ready.
High-performance.

The fully synthetic high-performance gear oils in the Berusynth EPX series are based on the latest generation of base oils and utilise modern polyglycols with a particularly high viscosity index and homogeneous molecular structure. In combination with an innovative additive package, they achieve performance values that significantly exceed those of conventional polyglycol-based gear oils on the market.

Thanks to their specially adapted formulation, the transmission oils offer outstanding oxidation stability and therefore enable significantly extended oil change intervals. The targeted optimisation of the friction conditions in the tooth contact contributes significantly to reducing power losses in gearboxes and bearings losses in gearboxes and bearings. With the Berusynth EPX series, BECHEM is making an active contribution to greater sustainability and resource conservation in industrial operations, thereby helping to reduce the CO2 footprint. The Berusynth EPX series has been approved by gearbox manufacturer Flender for use in all types of industrial gearboxes.

More stable lubricating film and reduced coefficient of friction

In the SRV-FZG load stage test over 2 hours in accordance with DIN 51834-4, the oils in the Berusynth EPX series show clearly superior performance compared to similar competitor products.

At a test temperature of 50 °C and the friction pairing cylinder (6 × 8 mm) against lapped plate, Berusynth EPX 220 achieves significantly lower friction values in ISO VG class 220. While competitor oils show the first signs of seizure even at low loads and the lubricating film fails prematurely, Berusynth EPX 220 withstands higher loads and ensures a stable lubricating film and a constantly low coefficient of friction over the entire test period.

Excellent wear protection

According to DIN 51517-3, the permissible limit value for rolling element wear in the FAG FE 8 test is just 30 mg for CLP gear oils. The products in the Berusynth EPX series fall well below this value and impress with exceptionally low wear of ≤ 5 mg.
