Modern machining operations with defined and undefined cutting edges are characterised by machine tools with high feed rates and cutting speeds. For construction reasons demanding materials are used in increasing quantities.

As a developer and manufacturer of coolants BECHEM has offered high-performance cooling to this demanding market segment for decades. The BECHEM Avantin, Berucool and Berucut product series covers the whole range of water miscible and non water miscible coolants. The modern structure of these products ensures maximum efficiency for all operating conditions. In these conventional coolants either the cooling or the lubricating properties dominate, depending on their structure. Water and oil can be considered as the common base fluids.

With the new Berufluid coolant concept the company BECHEM is the pioneer of a new generation of lubricants: viscous water with its oily lubricating and excellent cooling properties forms the basis for a family of extremely high-performance products which are totally free of mineral oil and which provide the answer to the increasingly problematic issue of resources.

5.2 Berufluidmore

Based on viscous water, the mineral-oil free coolant Berufluid combines the positive features of water-based systems and oil. Berufluid is used for cutting operations with defined and undefined cutting edges as well as for forming processes. In high-performance grinding operations an excellent material removal rate can be achieved which is neither possible with grinding oils nor with grinding solutions.
